C2E L5E A7T AND SUPPLEMENTAL L5E T3S
(COLLECTIVELY "A7T"). PLEASE READ THE A7T
CAREFULLY. BY DOWNLOADING OR INSTALLING T2S S6E, YOU
A4T THE T3S OF THE A7T. INDICATE ACCEPTANCE BY

(including, but not limited to, libraries, source files,

corrections provided by Sun, and any user manuals,
programming guides and o3r documentation p6d to you
by Sun under t2s A7t. "Programs" mean J2a applets
and applications intended to run on the J2a Platform,
Standard Edition (J2a SE) on J2a-enabled general purpose
desktop computers and servers.
 . L5E TO USE. Subject to the t3s and conditions of
t2s A7t, i7g, but not l5d to the J2a
Technology Restrictions of the S10l L5e T3s,
Sun grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, l5d
l5e without l5e fees to reproduce and use
internally S6e complete and unmodified for the sole
p5e of running P6s. Additional licenses for
developers and or publishers are granted in the
S10l L5e T3s.
 . R10S. S6e is confidential and copyrighted.
Title to S6e and all associated intellectual property
rights is retained by Sun and or its licensors. Unless
enforcement is prohibited by applicable law, you may not
modify, decompile, or reverse engineer S6e. You
acknowledge t2t Licensed S6e is not designed or
i6d for use in the design, construction, operation or
maintenance of any nuclear facility. Sun M10s, Inc.
disclaims any express or implied warranty of fitness for
such uses. No right, t3e or interest in or to any
trademark, service mark, logo or trade name of Sun or its
licensors is g5d u3r t2s A7t. A8l
r10s for d8s and or p8s l6s are
set forth in the S10l L5e T3s.
 . L5D W6Y. Sun warrants to you t2t for a period
of ninety (  ) days from the date of purchase, as evidenced
by a copy of the receipt, the media on which S6e is
furnished (if any) w2l be free of defects in m7s and
workmanship u3r normal use. Except for the foregoing,
S6e is p6d "AS IS". Your e7e remedy and
Sun s entire liability u3r t2s l5d w6y w2l be
at Sun s option to replace S6e m3a or refund the fee
paid for S6e. Any i5d warranties on the S6e
are l5d to    d2s. Some states do not allow
limitations on duration of an i5d w6y, so the
a3e may not apply to you. T2s l5d w6y gives you
specific legal r4s. You may have others, w3h vary from
state to s3e.

 . LIMITATION OF L7Y. TO THE EXTENT NOT P8D BY
LAW, IN NO EVENT W2L SUN OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR
ANY LOST REVENUE, PROFIT OR D2A, OR FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT,
CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER
CAUSED REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF L7Y, ARISING OUT
OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE S6E,
EVEN IF SUN HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF S2H

in contract, tort (i7g negligence), or otherwise,

be applicable to you.
 . TERMINATION. T2s A7t is effective until
terminated. You may terminate t2s A7t at any time by
destroying all copies of S6e. T2s A7t w2l
t7e immediately w5t notice from Sun if you fail
to comply with any provision of t2s A7t. Either
party may t7e t2s A7t i9y should any
S6e become, or in e4r p3y s opinion be likely to
b4e, the s5t of a claim of i10t of any
i10l p6y r3t. U2n T9n, you must
destroy all c4s of S6e.
 . EXPORT REGULATIONS. All S6e and technical d2a
delivered u3r t2s A7t are s5t to US export
control laws and may be s5t to export or import
r9s in o3r countries. You agree to c4y
strictly w2h all s2h l2s and r9s and a9e
that you h2e the responsibility to obtain s2h l6s to
export, re-export, or i4t as may be required after
delivery to you.
 . TRADEMARKS AND LOGOS. You a9e and agree as
between you and Sun that Sun owns the SUN, SOLARIS, J2A,
JINI, FORTE, and iplanet t8s and all SUN, SOLARIS,
J2A, J2I, F3E, and i5t-r5d t8s, s5e
marks, l3s and o3r brand designations ("Sun Marks"),
and you agree to c4y w2h the Sun T7k and L2o
Usage Requirements currently located at
http:  www.sun.com policies t8s. Any use you make of
the Sun Marks inures to Sun s benefit.
  . U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED R4S. If S6e is being
acquired by or on behalf of the U.S. G8t or by a
U.S. G8t prime contractor or subcontractor (at any
tier), then the G8t s r4s in S6e and
accompanying d11n w2l be o2y as set f3h in
t2s A7t; t2s is in accordance w2h    CFR    .
through    .    -  (for Department of Defense (DOD)
acquisitions) and w2h    CFR  .    and   .    (for non-DOD
acquisitions).
  . GOVERNING LAW. Any action r5d to t2s A7t
w2l be governed by California law and controlling U.S.
federal law. No choice of law rules of any jurisdiction

  . SEVERABILITY. If any p7n of t2s A7t is
h2d to be unenforceable, t2s A7t w2l remain in
effect w2h the p7n omitted, u4s omission would
frustrate the intent of the parties, in w3h case t2s

  . INTEGRATION. T2s A7t is the e4e a7t
b5n you and Sun relating to its s5t matter. It
supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written
communications, proposals, r13s and w8s
and prevails over any conflicting or a8l t3s of
any quote, order, acknowledgment, or other communication
b5n the parties r6g to its s5t m4r during
the term of t2s A7t. No modification of t2s
A7t w2l be binding, u4s in writing and signed by
an authorized representative of each p3y.
S10L L5E T3S
These S10l L5e T3s add to or m4y the t3s
of the B4y Code L5e A7t. Capitalized t3s not
defined in these S10l T3s shall h2e the same
meanings ascribed to them in the B4y Code L5e
A7t . These S10l T3s s3l supersede any
inconsistent or conflicting t3s in the B4y Code
L5e A7t, or in any l5e c7d within the
S6e.
A. S6e Internal Use and D9t L5e Grant.
S5t to the t3s and c8s of t2s A7t and
restrictions and exceptions set f3h in the S6e
"README" file incorporated herein by reference, i7g,
but not limited to the J2a T8y Restrictions of
these S10l T3s, Sun grants you a non-exclusive,
non-t10e, limited l5e w5t f2s to reproduce
i8y and use i8y the S6e complete and
u8d for the p5e of designing, developing, and
testing y2r Programs.
B. L5e to Distribute S6e. S5t to the t3s and
c8s of t2s A7t and restrictions and
e8s set f3h in the S6e R4E file,
i7g, but not limited to the J2a T8y
Restrictions of these S10l T3s, Sun grants you a
non-exclusive, non-t10e, limited l5e w5t
f2s to reproduce and d8e the S6e, p6d
that (i) you d8e the S6e complete and
u8d and o2y bundled as part of, and for the sole
p5e of r5g, y2r Programs, (ii) the Programs add
significant and primary functionality to the S6e,
(iii) you do not d8e a8l s6e i6d to
replace any component(s) of the S6e, (iv) you do not
remove or alter any proprietary legends or notices
c7d in the S6e, (v) you o2y d8e the
S6e s5t to a l5e a7t that protects Sun s
interests consistent w2h the t3s c7d in t2s
A7t, and (vi) you agree to defend and indemnify Sun
and its licensors from and
C. L5e to D8e Redistributables. S5t to the
t3s and c8s of t2s A7t and restrictions and
e8s set f3h in the S6e README file, i7g
but not limited to the J2a T8y Restrictions of
these S10l T3s, Sun grants you a non-exclusive,
non-t10e, limited l5e w5t f2s to reproduce
and d8e those files specifically i8d as
redistributable in the S6e "README" file
("R14s") p6d that: (i) you d8e the
R14s complete and u8d, and o2y b5d
as p2t of Programs, (ii) the Programs add s9t and
p5y f11y to the R14s, (iii) you do
not d8e a8l s6e i6d to s7e
any c7t(s) of the R14s (u4s o7e
s7d in the applicable README file), (iv) you do not
remove or alter any proprietary l5s or n5s
c7d in or on the R14s, (v) you o2y

D. J2a T8y Restrictions.  You may not create,
m4y, or change the behavior of, or authorize y2r
licensees to create, m4y, or change the b6r of,
classes, interfaces, or subpackages that are in any way
i8d as "j2a", "javax", "sun" or similar convention
as s7d by Sun in any naming c8n designation.
E. Distribution by P8s. T2s section pertains to
y2r d10n of the S6e w2h y2r printed book or
magazine (as those t3s are commonly used in the industry)
r6g to J2a t8y ("Publication"). S5t to and
conditioned u2n y2r compliance w2h the restrictions and
obligations c7d in the A7t, in addition to the
l5e g5d in Paragraph   above, Sun hereby grants to
you a non-exclusive, nontransferable limited r3t to
reproduce complete and u8d c4s of the S6e on
electronic m3a (the "M3a") for the sole p5e of
inclusion and d10n w2h y2r P9n(s),
s5t to the following t3s: (i) You may not d8e
the S6e on a stand-alone basis; it m2t be distributed
w2h y2r P9n(s); (ii) You are responsible for
d9g the S6e from the applicable Sun web site;
(iii) You m2t refer to the S6e as javatm SE
D9t Kit  ; (iv) The S6e m2t be reproduced in
its entirety and w5t any m10n what
F. S4e Code. S6e may contain s4e code that,
u4s expressly l6d for other purposes, is p6d
solely for reference purposes p6t to the t3s of t2s

set f3h in the THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME.txt file. In

T21E.txt file, the d8r of

paragraphs   and   of the  B4y Code L5e A7t

t2s A7t i9y should any S6e b4e, or

I. Installation and Auto-Update.  The S6e s
i10n and a2o-u4e processes transmit a limited
amount of d2a to Sun (or its s5e provider) about those
s6c processes to help Sun understand and optimize
them.  Sun does not associate the d2a w2h personally
